Kavyan
The word Kavyan refers to a group of Malaysian writers of Indian descent who write in Bahasa Malaysia, the national language of Malaysia. Kavyan Writers (or ''Sasterawan Kavyan'') contribute novels, short stories, and poems to the Malaysian literary scene, occasionally in English and Tamil as well. The ''Kumpulan Sasterawan Kavyan'' ''(Kavyan Writers' Group)'' is an association of Kavyan Writers. The Kavyan set a record in ''The Malaysia Book of Records'' for a continuous 96 hours & 32 minutes recital of short stories in August–September 2003. Uthaya Sankar SB
Uthaya Sankar SB (born Taiping, Perak) is a Malaysian writer who writes in Bahasa Malaysia. Early life and education Uthaya Sankar SB grew up in Lorong B, Aulong Lama village in Taiping, Perak, where the majority of people along the lane were Indian and there were only two Malay families. (theSun, 16 July 2009) He moved to Klang, Selangor and settled in Shah Alam, Selangor. He studied in Universiti Malaya (1993-1998, 2019-2021) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (1998-1999). He is a Malaysian Malayali. Career Uthaya worked at Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) from 1996 to 2010 as a Bahasa Malaysia news editor, newscaster, newspaper reviewer, and trainer. Bahasa Malaysia
Malaysian Malay ( ms, Bahasa Melayu Malaysia), also known as Standard Malay (Malay: ''Bahasa Melayu Standard''), ( English translation: Malaysian language), or simply Malay, is a standardized form of the Malay language used in Malaysia (as opposed to the variety used in Indonesia, which is referred to as the "Indonesian" language). The Malaysia Book of Records (or MBR) is a Malaysian project to publish records set or broken by Malaysians. The project complements Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad's ' Malaysia Boleh!' (''Malaysia Can!'' in English) campaign. As with the Guinness World Records, there is an annually published book listing the records. Aims The MBR is a project formed in line with the peoples Vision 2020. An hour (symbol: h; also abbreviated hr) is a unit of time conventionally reckoned as of a day and scientifically reckoned between 3,599 and 3,601 seconds, depending on the speed of Earth's rotation. The minute is a unit of time usually equal to (the first sexagesimal fraction) of an hour, or 60 seconds.
