Ekaterina Valeryevna Lee (russian: Екатерина Валерьевна Ли, ''Ekaterina Valeryevna Li'') is a Russian singer-songwriter and fashion designer, professionally known as Katya Lee (Катя Ли), or KATYA. Career According to a video she posted to Facebook, she is of mixed Korean and Russian descent. Hi-Fi (2006–2010) Lee began her career in 2006, after being discovered by a producer, while singing in a nightclub in Saint-Petersburg. The next day she was flown to Moscow, where she became a member of the pop/dance band Hi-Fi. Fabrika (2010–2014) In 2010, she left Hi-Fi after being invited to join the all-girl pop act Fabrika (Фабрика), which was enjoying a period of success. Mother Mother is a Canadian indie rock band based in Quadra Island, British Columbia. The band consists of Ryan Guldemond on guitar and vocals, Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin on vocals and keyboard, Ali Siadat on drums, and Mike Young on bass. Longtime bassist Jeremy Page left the band in 2016. In 2005, they independently released their self-titled debut album under the band name Mother. They later changed their name to Mother Mother, and re-released the album on Last Gang Records in 2007. Retitled '' Touch Up'', the reissue also featured several new songs. Fabrika (russian: Фабрика; ''Factory'' in English) is a Russian-Ukrainian pop girl group, originally from Moscow. Initially a four-piece, Fabrika was created from four female participants from the first season of the Russian musical reality show ''Fabrika Zvyozd'' in 2002, and included Irina Toneva, Sati Kazanova, Alexandra Savelyeva and Maria Alalykina.
