Katie Murray (born January 15, 1997) is an American soccer player. She plays as a midfielder for Granadilla Tenerife in Liga F. Career Murray attended the University of Illinois, Murray played for the university's team, from 2015-18. After graduating, she signed for IK Myran in Finland. On January 13, 2020, Murray signed for the Spanish team Granadilla Tenerife. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
