Katie Boyle
Caterina Irene Elena Maria Boyle, Lady Saunders (née Imperiali dei Principi di Francavilla; 29 May 1926 – 20 March 2018), usually known as Katie Boyle, was an Italian-born British actress, writer, radio announcer, television personality, game-show panellist and animal rights activist. She became best known for presenting the Eurovision Song Contest on four occasions, in 1960, 1963, 1968 and 1974; the first three in London and the last in Brighton, England. She was once an agony aunt, answering problems that had been posted by readers of the ''TVTimes''. ''After Dark'' was a British late-night live television discussion programme broadcast weekly on Channel 4 between 1987 and 1991, and which returned for specials between 1993 and 1997; it was later revived by the BBC for a single season broadcast on BBC Four in 2003. Roly Keating of the BBC described it as "one of the great television talk formats of all time". ''Weakest Link'' (also known as ''The Weakest Link'') is a television game show which The Weakest Link (British game show), first appeared in the United Kingdom on BBC Two on 14 August 2000 and originally ended on 31 March 2012 when its host Anne Robinson completed her contract. The original British version of the show is still aired around the world on BBC Entertainment. Bridlington
Bridlington is a coastal town and a civil parish on the Holderness Coast of the North Sea in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is about north of Hull and east of York. Eamonn Andrews
Eamonn Andrews, (19 December 1922 – 5 November 1987) was an Irish radio and television presenter, employed primarily in the United Kingdom from the 1950s to the 1980s. From 1960 to 1964 he chaired the Radio Éireann Authority (now the RTÉ Authority), which oversaw the introduction of a state television service in the Republic of Ireland. Early life Andrews was born in Synge Street, Dublin, and educated at Synge Street CBS. He began his career as a clerk in an insurance office. He was a keen amateur boxer and won the Irish junior middleweight title in 1944. Broadcasting career By 1944 he was the Hon. Secretary of St. Andrew's Boxing Club. Camay is an American brand of bar soap owned by Unilever. It was introduced in 1926 by Procter & Gamble and was marketed as a "white, pure soap for women," as many soaps of the time were colored to mask impurities. Camay's slogan for many years was "Camay: the soap for beautiful women." It was later replaced with "For your most beautiful complexion at every age." In December, 2014, Procter & Gamble announced that it was selling Camay to Unilever. The transaction was completed in 2015, but Unilever had not yet announced when it would start producing Camay soap. The United Kingdom was represented by The Allisons in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Are You Sure?". The Allisons an English pop duo were chosen as to represent the UK, the song came 2nd in the contest and reached No2 in the UK singles charts. They went on to come 2nd in the contest. Before Eurovision A Song For Europe The United Kingdom held a national pre-selection to choose the song that would go to the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest. It was held on 15 February 1961 and presented by Katie Boyle. The programme was based on the American show '' Jukebox Jury'', itself an offshoot of a long-running radio series. ''What's My Line?'' is a panel game show that originally ran in the United States on the CBS Television Network from 1950 to 1967, originally in black and white and later in color, with subsequent U.S. revivals.
