Josh Duhamel Katherine Sherar Pannill Center (born March 4, 1972) is an American author of contemporary fiction. Early life and education Center was born and raised in Afton Oaks, Houston, Texas. She graduated from St. John's School and from Vassar College. She won the Vassar College Fiction Prize while a student. She received her M.A. in fiction from the University of Houston, where she was the co-editor of the literary fiction magazine, ''Gulf Coast''. Her graduate thesis, ''Peepshow'', a collection of stories, was a finalist for the Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction. She has two sisters, one of which is U.S. Representative Lizzie Fletcher. Career Center is the author of several books, which she has called "bittersweet comic novels." Joshua David Duhamel (; born November 14, 1972) is an American actor and former fashion model. After various modeling work, he made his acting debut as Leo du Pres on the ABC daytime soap opera ''All My Children'' and later starred as Danny McCoy on NBC's ''Las Vegas''. Jeffrey Ross Toobin (; born May 21, 1960) is an American lawyer, author, blogger, and longtime legal analyst for CNN. He left CNN on September 4, 2022. During the Iran–Contra affair, Toobin served as an associate counsel on this investigation in the Department of Justice. He moved from government and the practice of law into full-time writing during the 1990s, when he published his first books. He wrote for ''The New Yorker'' from 1993 to 2020.
