Kateryna Polovinchuk ( uk, Катерина Ігорівна Половинчук; born 24 November 1995 in Kyiv) is a Ukrainian professional pool player. She has won Ukrainian national championships across different disciplines 20 times, and in 2016 she was runner-up in the European Eight-ball Championship. Career Pool Kateryna Polovinchuk was born on 24 November 1995. In June 2010, she became Ukrainian junior champion in all four disciplines (Straight pool, Eight-ball, Nine-ball, Ten-ball). In December 2010, Polovyntschuk beat Viktorija Nahorna 6-3 and became Ukrainian champion for the first time, shortly after her 15th birthday. In 2011 she won all four titles at the Ukrainian Junior Championship. In 2012 she was again four times national junior champion. Eight-ball (also spelled 8-ball or eightball, and sometimes called solids and stripes, spots and stripes or rarely highs and lows) is a discipline of pool played on a billiard table with six pockets, cue sticks, and sixteen billiard balls (a and fifteen ). Straight Pool
Straight pool, which is also called 14.1 continuous and 14.1 rack, is a cue sport in which two competing players attempt to as many billiard balls as possible without playing a . The game was the primary version of pool played in professional competition until it was superseded by faster-playing games like nine-ball and eight-ball in the 1980s. Kristina Olegovna Tkach (; born 19 January 1999) is a Russian professional Pool (cue sports), pool player. She became the 2017 WPA World Nine-ball Junior Championship winner, defeating Lee Woo-jin (pool player), Lee Woo-jin in the final 9–6. Chen Siming (born 30 December 1993) is a Chinese professional pool player. Chen is best known for winning the 2017 WPA World Nine-ball Championship. Career Chen grew up in Heilongjiang Province, China, where her parents were owners of a pool hall, and she started playing snooker aged 8. Four years later, in 2006, she won both the 8-ball and 9-ball divisions of the Chinese National Youth Championships. By 2009 she was being coached by Wu Jia-qing (formerly known as Wu Chia-Ching), the double world champion.
