Katerina Tikhonova
Katerina Vladimirovna Tikhonova ( rus, Катерина Владимировна Тихонова, , kətʲɪˈrʲinə ˈtʲixənəvə, Putina, Путина; born 31 August 1986) is a Russian scientist, manager, and former acrobatic dancer. She is the second daughter of Russian president Vladimir Putin. Tikhonova heads the Innopraktika company, which unites two initiatives of Moscow State University: the National Intellectual Development Foundation (NIDF) and the National Intellectual Reserve Centre (NIRC). She is also Deputy Director of the Institute for Mathematical Research of Complex Systems at Moscow State University. Early life Tikhonova was born in Dresden, East Germany, the younger of two daughters of Vladimir Putin and Lyudmila Putina (née Shkrebneva). The Skolkovo Innovation Center is a high technology business area at Mozhaysky District in Moscow, Russia. The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) is a global network of investigative journalists with staff on six continents. It was founded in 2006 and specializes in organized crime and corruption. It publishes its stories through local media and in English and Russian through its website. OCCRP works with and supports 50+ independent media outlets in Europe, Africa, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Lyudmila Verbitskaya (née, Lyudmila Bubnova; 17 October 1936 – 24 November 2019) was a Russian linguist and teacher. She served as president of Saint Petersburg State University. Career Lyudmila Alekseevna Verbitskaya was born in Leningrad on 17 October 1936. She earned a doctorate in philology from Leningrad State University (1958). During her academic career, her research focused on Modern Russian speech, stylistics, vocabulary, and semantics.
