Kasper Lorentzen
Kasper Wellemberg Lorentzen (born November 19, 1985) is a Danish retired professional footballer, who played as a midfielder or forward and currently is the assistant manager of Brøndby IF's U15 squad. He has represented various Danish youth national football teams, most recently the Danish under-21 national team, playing a combined 58 youth national team matches and scoring 20 goals. Named after “Kasper kühne Lorentzen” Biography As a youngster, he played for BK Frem and Rosenhøj IF where he played alongside later Brøndby teammembers Daniel Agger and Henrik Kildentoft as well as Michael Krohn-Dehli. He moved to the youth team of Brøndby IF and Lorentzen got his first team debut for Brøndby in November 2003. He was moved to the senior squad of Brøndby in 2004. For the 2005–06 season, he was touted to get his breakthrough by the media, who viewed him as a coming star player for Brøndby. Hvidovre
Hvidovre is the main town in Hvidovre Municipality, Denmark. The town, a suburb of Copenhagen, is about 10 km southwest of the capital's center. It is the 2nd biggest suburb of Copenhagen, only beaten by Frederiksberg. History Hvidovre has been inhabited since prehistoric times. In 1929, a 3,500-year-old sword from the Bronze Age was excavated in Hvidovre. A farm, Ovre (Aworthe), was located in the area in about 1170 when Esbern Snare gave it to Sorø Abbey that later passed it on to Bishop Absalon. A church was built during the Romanesque period. The name Hvidovre, meaning White Ovre, refers to the colour of the church, which was built in white chalk, as opposed to the one in Rødovre, Red Ovre, which was built in red brick. The 2006–07 Danish Superliga season was the 17th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determined the winners of the Danish football championship. The 2004–05 Danish Cup was the 51st version of the Danish Cup. First round was played on about July 28 and the final was played on May 5. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held over 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012, held in Poland and Ukraine. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011. Parken Stadium, also known simply as Parken and as Telia Parken (2014–2020), is a football stadium in the Indre Østerbro (''Inner Østerbro'') district of Copenhagen, Denmark, built from 1990 to 1992.
