Kaspars Daugaviņš
Kaspars Daugaviņš (born May 18, 1988) is a Latvian professional ice hockey player who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played with Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Daugaviņš has played professionally in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins. The Senators selected him in the third round, 91st overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career As a youth, Daugaviņš played in the 2002 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Riga. Jonas Gustavsson (; born 24 October 1984) also known by his nickname The Monster is a Sweden, Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender who last played for Linköping HC of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Gustavsson previously played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Gustavsson started his professional career with AIK IF, AIK in 2002 and played with them until 2007. He then moved to Färjestad BK in the Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien. The 2009–10 AHL season was the 74th season of the American Hockey League. Twenty-nine teams played 80 regular-season games each from October 2 to April 11. This season featured the addition of one new team, the relocation of two others, and the involuntary suspension of another. League business European pre-season openers On June 11, 2009, both the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Toronto Marlies were invited to participate in a four-team preseason tournament in Edinburgh, Scotland, to celebrate Scotland's contribution to the game of ice hockey. Tyler Ray Weiman (born June 5, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played one game in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Colorado Avalanche. Playing career Weiman was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was drafted 164th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche. Albany River Rats
The Albany River Rats were a minor league professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Albany, New York at the Times Union Center. History Before the formation of the franchise Without a viable indoor arena with an ice surface, through the end of the 1980s the city of Albany had never had a minor league professional hockey team.
