Kasmir (singer)
Thomas Kirjonen (born 27 March 1985), better known as Kasmir, is a Finnish singer, musician and record producer. Kasmir's debut single "Vadelmavene" was released in April 2014 and peaked at number one on the List of number-one singles (Finland), Finnish Singles Chart. His debut solo album ''AMK Dropout'' was produced by Hank Solo and Jonas W. Karlsson and was released 19 September 2014. The album was the first in Finland to certify gold based on downloads and streams. Prior to launching his solo career, he was a member and lead singer of the Finnish rock band Collarbone (band), Collarbone. The band that also included Janne Suominen (guitar), Mikko Merilinna (guitar), Matti Piipponen (bass) and Janne Sivunen (drums) was formed in 2000 and released two studio albums, ''The Back of Beyond'' in 2007 and ''Pretty Dirty'' in 2010. Espoo
Espoo (, ; sv, Esbo) is a city and municipality in the region of Uusimaa in the Republic of Finland. It is located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland, bordering the cities of Helsinki, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi, Vihti and Nurmijärvi while surrounding the enclaved town of Kauniainen. The city covers with a population of about 300 000 residents in 2022, making it the 2nd-most populous city in Finland. Espoo forms a major part of a substantially larger metropolitan area known as Greater Helsinki, home to over 1.5 million people in 2020. Anna Puu (born Anna Puustjärvi; February 3, 1982) is a Finnish singer-songwriter. She placed second in Finland's '' Idols'' 2008 competition. allmusic.com. Retrieved January 7, 2013. Puu's first album, ''Anna Puu'', was released on April 29, 2009, and reached #1. The first single, "C'est la vie", was released in mid-April and reached #1 in Finland. Another single, "Kaunis päivä", reached #6 on the Finnish charts, but the last single "Melankolian riemut" failed to make an impact on the charts. The album has since sold over 60,000 copies.
