Kasi Kelly
Kasi Laine Kelly (born October 1, 1981) is a beauty queen from Bridgeport, Texas who has competed in the Miss USA pageant. She was born to Wiley and Toni Harkins Kelly. She has one sister named Kristi. Kelly won the Miss Texas USA 2002 title in a state pageant held in Lubbock, Texas on July 30, 2001. She competed against over 100 other contestants as Miss Dallas-Fort Worth. Her first runner-up was Stephanie Guerrero, who would go on to win the Miss Texas USA 2004 title, her second runner-up was Andria Mullins, who was Miss Texas Teen USA 1997, the third runner-up was Christie Lee Woods, Miss Texas Teen USA 1996 and Miss Teen USA 1996, and fourth runner-up was Candace Campfield, who would place in the top five of the pageant on three further occasions. Miss Texas USA
The Miss Texas USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state Texas in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. This pageant is part of the Miss USA Organization, owned by Texas native Crystle Stewart, herself a Miss USA for 2008. The pageant is currently held in Houston. It has previously been hosted by El Paso, San Antonio, South Padre Island, Lubbock and Laredo. It was televised from 1971 to 2009. The current titleholder is R'Bonney Gabriel of Houston and was crowned on July 2, 2022 at Hilton Houston Post Oak in Houston. She represented Texas at Miss USA 2022 and won, earning her the right to represent the United States at Miss Universe 2022. Tyler Colie Willis Avary (born January 2, 1980) is a beauty queen from Brownfield, Texas who has competed in the Miss USA pageant. She was born to James & Joetta Warren Willis. She has one sister named Kaci. Miss Texas USA 2005 Willis won the Miss Texas USA 2005 title in a state pageant held in Laredo, Texas in June 2004. Competing against 128 other contestants as Miss Central Plains, Willis also won the Miss Congeniality title during the event. Her second runner-up was Lauren Lanning, who would win the title the following year. This was Willis's fourth attempt at winning the title. Her first came in 2001, when she competed as Miss Raiderland and did not place. The Miss District of Columbia USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the District of Columbia in the Miss USA pageant. Four District of Columbia representatives have won the Miss USA title. Of those two, Deshauna Barber and Kára McCullough won successive Miss USA titles in 2016 and 2017. History ''The Lubbock Avalanche'' was founded in 1900 by John James Dillard and Thad Tubbs. Miss Idaho USA
The Miss Idaho USA pageant is a competition that selects the representative for the state of Idaho in the Miss USA pageant and the name of the title held by that winner. It is currently produced by Pageants NW Productions based in Puyallup, Washington. Idaho's first placement at Miss USA came in 1964 with Dorothy Johnson, the first African-American semi-finalist. Their second placement came in 1997 when former Miss Idaho Teen USA and Miss Teen USA 1989 Brandi Sherwood placed first runner-up. Miss USA 2002 was the 51st Miss USA pageant, held at Genesis Convention Center in Gary, Indiana on March 1, 2002. The event was won by Shauntay Hinton of the District of Columbia, who was crowned by outgoing queen Kandace Krueger of Texas. This is the second year in a row and third time since 1995 a Miss Teen USA state delegate did not win or inherit the Miss USA title. This was the last Miss USA show to be aired on CBS. Beginning with the next Miss USA pageant, NBC assumed co-ownership of the pageant along with Donald Trump, and as a result began televising the pageant.
