Karlaplan Studion
Karlaplan is an open park- plaza area in Östermalm in central Stockholm, Sweden. History Lindhagenplanen was a general plan presented with a proposal for street regulation in Stockholm in 1866 by a committee headed by the lawyer and politician Albert Lindhagen (1823-1887). Construction of Karlaplan started in 1896. It was designed in the image of Place de l'Étoile in Paris. The plaza is named in honour of three Swedish kings; Karl X Gustav, Karl XI and Karl XII. In the late 1920s, plans proposed by architect Ragnar Hjorth (1887-1971) provided for with a circular basin and a fountain. In 1930, the large fountain basin was started, which is slightly recessed in relation to the surrounding street level. During World War I, planting was supplemented with chestnut and poplar trees while the park was also used to cultivate vegetables. Lennart Hyland
Otto Lennart Hyland (24 September 1919 – 15 March 1993), was a Swedish TV-show host and journalist and one of the most popular and renowned TV personalities in the history of Swedish television. His biggest success as an entertainer was unquestionably the show ''Hylands hörna'' ("Hyland's corner"), that aired from 1962 on Sveriges Television. Initially, it was a radio show at Sveriges Radio, but due to its success and popularity, the production was moved to Sveriges Television in 1962 where it aired until 1983. During its 21-year run, it became a veritable institution of Swedish popular entertainment. Early life Hyland was born on 24 September 1919 in Tranås, Säby Parish, Sweden, the son of Otto Hyland, a merchant, and Maja Moback. "Flottarkärlek" is a song written by Hugo Lindh, and performed live by Gösta Nordgren, Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren on Saturday, 26 January 1952 in Swedish radio program ''Karusellen (radio programme), Karusellen'', and the song became a major hit in Sweden. The song is also known as "Haderian hadera", the opening lines of the refrain, but during the original live radio performance, these word don't appear. Instead, they appeared when the song was recorded for grammophone record for first time. The song was originally recorded in 1948 by Harry Brandelius, Sölve Strand and Valle Söderlund, but those versions became no major success. Povel Ramel recorded a parody version of the song, ''Snodderian, snoddera''. Monotones orkester from Eskilstuna, led by Åke Lindmark, recorded the song on the 1975 album ''Sköna Låtar''.
