Flottarkärlek
"Flottarkärlek" is a song written by Hugo Lindh, and performed live by Gösta Nordgren, Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren on Saturday, 26 January 1952 in Swedish radio program ''Karusellen (radio programme), Karusellen'', and the song became a major hit in Sweden. The song is also known as "Haderian hadera", the opening lines of the refrain, but during the original live radio performance, these word don't appear. Instead, they appeared when the song was recorded for grammophone record for first time. The song was originally recorded in 1948 by Harry Brandelius, Sölve Strand and Valle Söderlund, but those versions became no major success. Povel Ramel recorded a parody version of the song, ''Snodderian, snoddera''. Monotones orkester from Eskilstuna, led by Åke Lindmark, recorded the song on the 1975 album ''Sköna Låtar''. Kinels also recorded their own version of the song. Roffe Wikström has also recorded a version, on the 2001 album ''Allting förändras''. References ... Grammophone Record
A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. It had co-existed with the phonograph cylinder from the late 1880s and had effectively superseded it by around 1912. Records retained the largest market share even when new formats such as the compact cassette were mass-marketed. Harry Brandelius
Harry ''Torbjörn'' Brandelius (14 June 1910 – 5 September 1994) was a Swedish singer of schlager music. He made his debut as a gramophone singer in 1932 with ''Midt i natten'' (''Miss i nassen'') accompanied by Folke Andersson's orchestra (HMV X 4026), and was one of the most popular of his generation. Many of his songs had sailor's themes. Brandelius achieved his breakthrough with the song ''Han hade seglat för om masten'' ("He had sailed fore of the mast"), written by Martin Nilsson, in 1938. Later on he also succeeded well with ''Nordsjön'' ("The North Sea"), ''Med en enkel tulipan'' ("With a simple tulip"), ''En sjöman älskar havets vÃ¥g'' ("A sailor loves the wave of the sea") and ''Vind i seglen'' ("Wind in the sails"). Sölve Strand
Sölve was a sea-king who conquered Sweden by burning the Swedish king Östen to death inside his hall. The '' Heimskringla'' relates that he was the son of Högne of Nærøy, and that he had his home in Jutland (however, according to the older source '' Historia Norwegiae'', he was Geatish). He pillaged in the Baltic Sea and at night they made shore in the hundred of Lofond/Lovund (perhaps Lovön or the Lagunda Hundred) where they surrounded a house and set it on fire killing everybody inside. In the house there was a feast where the Swedish king Östen was invited. Then Sölve and his men arrived in Sigtuna (Old Sigtuna) and declared that the Swedes had to accept him as king. The Swedes refused and fought Sölve for eleven days until they lost. Sölve then ruled Sweden until the Swedes rebelled and killed him.
