Karapet Muradyan ( hy, Կարապետ Մուրադյան; born 2 September 1983), best known as Karo Murat ( hy, Կարո Մուրատ), is a German Armenian professional boxer who held the IBO light-heavyweight title in 2018. At regional level, he held the European super-middleweight title from 2008 to 2009 and the light-heavyweight version in 2017. Boxing career Early professional career Murat made his professional debut in Hessen, Germany on 23 September 2006 defeating Matus Sestak. Three more fights during his debut year resulted in three more wins including a victory in Austria on 18 November. Max-Schmeling-Halle is a multi-purpose arena, in Berlin, Germany, named after the famous German boxer Max Schmeling. Apart from Mercedes-Benz Arena and the Velodrom, it's one of Berlin's biggest indoor sports arenas and holds from 8,861 people, up to 12,000 people. Thomas Karpency (born January 10, 1986) is an American professional boxer who fights in the light heavyweight division. A professional since 2006, he is a three-time world title challenger; first challenging for the WBO and IBO light heavyweight titles in 2012, as well as the WBC light heavyweight title in 2015. Gabriel Campillo (born 19 December 1978) is a Spanish former professional boxer who competed from 2002 to 2015, and held the WBA light-heavyweight title from 2009 to 2010.
