''Karimpinpoovinakkare'' is a 1985 Malayalam film written by P. Padmarajan and directed by I. V. Sasi, starring Mammootty, Bharat Gopy, Mohanlal, Seema, and Urvashi. The film revolves around the life and revenge of a few villagers against each other. Plot The film opens with an illegal cockfighting competition held in a small village in central Kerala. Suddenly police enter and arrest Shivan and Suku for holding money betting. But on way, they are saved by village youths under Chellan, a local goon, who is also a close buddy of Shivan. Both Chellan and Shivan share a strong friendship and are more like brothers. Chellan is in love with Shivan's younger sister and Shivan and his mom have given the green signal to it. Chandri, the sister of Shivan, is his everything and his whole happiness revolves around her. Gopynathan Velayudhan Nair (2 November 1937 – 29 January 2008), popularly known by the stage name Bharat Gopy, was an Indian actor, producer and director. He was one of the first actors to be associated with the New Wave cinema movement in Kerala during the 1970s. Bharat Gopy has won many awards, including the National Film Award for Best Actor for his role as Sankarankutty in '' Kodiyettam'' (1977), and hence he got the name Bharath. Jagannatha Varma
K. N. Jagannatha Varma (1 May 1939 – 20 December 2016) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing stereotypical roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest. Raju Mathew
Raju Mathew ( – 12 November 2019) was an Indian film producer from Kerala. He produced 45 films. He was the owner of Century Films. Biography Mathew worked in an insurance company before coming to the film arena. Later he gave up the job and established Century Films in 1979. Then he began to produce films. He produced mainly Malayalam films. Besides Malayalam films he also produced a Hindi film titled ''Anokha Rishta''. ''Athiran'' was the last film which was produced by him.
