Kari Rasmussen
Kari Rasmussen (5 October 1932 – 2 March 2021) was a Norwegian singer and actress. Personal life Rasmussen was born in Skedsmo, a daughter of factory owner Gunnar Rasmussen and Lena Thyvold. In 1971 she married actor Ole-Jørgen Nilsen. Career Rasmussen made her concert debut in 1956 in Vienna. She was assigned with the Gelsenkirchen Opera House for six years, and her operatic career includes performing in the operas '' La bohème'' (as Mimi), in ''Orfeo ed Euridice'' (as Euridice) and in '' The Magic Flute'' (as Pamina). Skedsmo
Skedsmo was a municipality in Akershus county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality was the town of Lillestrøm. About one third of the municipal population lived in Lillestrøm. Other important towns are Skedsmokorset, Skjetten and Strømmen. A smaller settlement adjoining Lillestrøm is Kjeller. The local newspaper is ''Romerikes Blad'' (circulation 39,139 in 2004). The paper comes out daily. Skedsmo municipality became part of Lillestrøm municipality 1 January 2020. The theatre was founded in 1912, after an initiative from Hulda Garborg and Edvard Drabløs. It opened in 1913, touring with two plays, ''Ervingen'' by Ivar Aasen and ''Rationelt Fjøsstell'' by Hulda Garborg. Its first official performance was Ludvig Holberg's comedy ''Jeppe på berget'', with Haakon VII of Norway and the prime minister of Norway among the spectators. Hulda Garborg was the first board manager, and Rasmus Rasmussen was the first theatre director. The theatre primarily performs plays written in or translated into Nynorsk. The theatre has three stages, and about 12–15 productions per year, plus guest plays. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Ole-Jørgen Nilsen
Ole-Jørgen Nilsen (28 February 1936 – 15 June 2008) was a Norwegian actor who was perhaps best known for playing the role of Hans Fredrik Rosenkrantz in the soap ''Hotel Cæsar'' and from a recurring role in the Olsenbanden films. Career Nilsen made his debut as a student at Nationaltheatret in 1959 and graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in the same year. He has since worked with Trøndelag Teater in 1961-68, Det Norske Teatret in 1968-73, Fjernsynsteatret in 1974-77, and Nationaltheatret since 1977. At the Trøndelag Teater, he made his debut in 1966 as the narrator of the piece ''Heat wave'' by Ted Williams. At Det Norske Teater he took part in translated productions such as ''Myrfolket'', ''Johann uten land'', ''Montserrat'' and not least, playing van Gogh in ''Postmannen fra Arles''.
