Karen Jespersen
Karen Moustgaard Jespersen (born 17 January 1947 in Copenhagen) is a Danish journalist and former politician representing the party Venstre. Early life Born in Copenhagen, she's the daughter of labourer Knud Jespersen and delicatessen owner Anna Jespersen. She attended Nansensgade School from 1954 to1964. Then, she graduated in History and Archaeology at University of Copenhagen. She's married to Ralf Pittelkow. Career Jespersen served as the editor of now defunct '' Politisk Revy'' magazine from 1974 to 1977. She was a member of the Left Socialists, represented the Social Democrats and was Social Minister from 25 January 1993 to 28 January 1994 in the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen I, and 27 September 1994 to 23 February 2000 in the Cabinet of Poul Nyrup Rasmussen II, III and IV. The Minister for Gender Equality (Danish: ''Ligestillingsministeriet'', literally Ministry for Equality) is a Danish ministry that works on improving equal gender rights across all other ministry areas. The first Minister for Gender Equality was appointed by the Prime Minister on 1 July 1999. Ministers of Equality Every Minister has held this title alongside another title. Jytte Andersen and Lotte Bundsgaard were also city and housing ministers. Henriette Kjær, Eva Kjer Hansen were social ministers. Karen Jespersen was also Social Minister, later welfare minister. Henrik Dam Kristensen
Henrik Dam Kristensen (born 31 January 1957 in Vorbasse) is a Danish politician and the current speaker of the Danish parliament. He has been a member of the Danish parliament for the Social Democrats from 1990–2004 and again from 2007, during which he served as Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries (1994–1996), Minister for Food (1996–2000), Minister for Social Affairs (2000–2001), Minister for Transport (2011–2013) and Minister for Employment (2014–2015). He served as President of the Nordic Council in 2011 and 2016. Background Kristensen was born in Vorbasse to Ove Dam Kristensen and Gudrun Dam Kristensen. Yvonne Herløv Andersen (born 1942) is a Danish former politician. She left parliament in 2001. A social worker and school principal by profession, Herløv Andersen was present at the founding of the Centre Democrats in 1973, though initially in a background role, serving as assistant to party leader Erhard Jakobsen, and in other internal party positions. She was elected to the Folketing (Danish parliament) in 1977 from Sorø, serving until 1979, again from 1981 to 1984 from Slagelse, and from 1987–88 from Odense. Else Winther Andersen
Else Winther Andersen (born 5 April 1941) is a Danish Venstre politician, teacher and social worker who served as the Minister for Social Affairs under Prime Minister Poul Schlüter from 18 December 1990 until her resignation on 25 January 1993. She was also a member of the Folketing for the constituency between 1990 and 2005. Andersen was appointed Commander of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1991.
