Karen Danzig
Karen Jane Danzig (born 13 July 1972) is a British singer with paternal German ancestry. She was raised by profoundly deaf parents, with a hearing brother and a deaf younger sister. Danzig, mostly known for her success in the clubland genre of Dance music, sang and co-wrote "Heartbeatz" which entered the UK Singles Chart at No.16 on All Around The World Records. She has co-written and given vocal performances for tracks by Styles & Breeze, Flip N Fill, Love to Infinity and Micky Modelle, and for labels such as All Around The World, Ministry of Sound, Sony ATV, Can You Feel It, and Serious Records. She is published by Notting Hill Music/23rd Precinct, and now writes, records and performs with songwriter/producer Bill Padley as dance-pop act Radiola. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. In terms of performance, the major categories are live dance music and recorded dance music. Blondie is an American Rock music, rock band co-founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the American New wave music, new wave scene of the mid-1970s in New York. Scooter is a German happy hardcore, rave and techno music band founded in Hamburg in 1993. To date, the band has sold over 30 million records and earned over 80 Gold and Platinum awards. Cascada (, Spanish for "Waterfall", stylized as CASCADA, CASC''A''DA and cascada) is a German dance music act founded in 2004 by singer Natalie Horler and DJs/producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou. Billy Bunter
William George Bunter is a fictional schoolboy created by Charles Hamilton using the pen name Frank Richards. He features in stories set at Greyfriars School, a fictional English public school in Kent, originally published in the boys' weekly story paper '' The Magnet'' from 1908 to 1940. The character has appeared in novels, on television, in stage plays and in comic strips. He is in the Lower Fourth form of Greyfriars School, known as the Remove, whose members are 14–15 years of age. Darren Styles
Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". In the early 2000s, Styles began producing more trance-influenced records with Mark Brady as Styles & Breeze. London Astoria
The London Astoria was a music venue at 157 Charing Cross Road, in London, England. Originally a warehouse during the 1920s, the building became a cinema and ballroom. It was converted for use as a theatre in the 1970s. After further development, the building re-opened in the mid-1980s, as a night club and live music venue for well-known musical acts. There are half a dozen clubs and smaller music venues in the adjacent buildings. In 2009 the venue closed, and was demolished as part of the development plans of the Crossrail project. The venue is still seen today as having been an iconic music establishment, as it helped to launch the careers of many British rock bands and also played a part in the UK success of many international acts.
