Karborn
Karborn (born May 1, 1985 as John Leigh) is a British mixed-media artist and graphic designer. Early years John Leigh was born on May 1, 1985. His father is the musician and graphic designer John Foxx whose art and synthesizers were formative elements of Leigh's childhood. His mother is a Belgian and he grew up in the Henley area, attending The Oratory School. As a teenager Leigh developed an interest in digital image manipulation. At the age of 16 he endured a car crash and was shut-in for a longer period of time. During this time he developed the "Karborn" character as his alter ego. In the mid-2000s he was attending Canadian Vancouver Film School with the help of a scholarship from British ''Computer Arts'' magazine, though he did not complete his course. John Foxx
John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh; 26 September 1948) is an English singer, musician, artist, photographer, graphic designer, writer, teacher and lecturer. He was the original lead singer of the new wave band Ultravox, before leaving to embark on a solo career in 1980 with the album ''Metamatic''. Primarily associated with electronic synthesizer music, he has also pursued a parallel career in graphic design and education. Andy Kellman of AllMusic described Foxx as an influential cult figure whose "detached, jolting vocal style inspired mainstream and underground artists across the decades." Vancouver Film School
Vancouver Film School (VFS) is a private entertainment arts school located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1987, it has achieved international recognition. The Vancouver Film School has campus locations around Downtown Vancouver and comprises six buildings. As part of the school's 20th anniversary in 2007, in August 2006 one million dollars was set aside in scholarships for new students. An op-ed, short for "opposite the editorial page", is a written prose piece, typically published by a North-American newspaper or magazine, which expresses the opinion of an author usually not affiliated with the publication's editorial board. Le cool is an independent publishing company based in Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 2003 by Swedish emigrant René Lönngren, the company publishes content concerning unusual events and places within European cities.
