The 11029/11030 Koyna Express is one of 3 daily dedicated express trains belonging to Indian Railways that run between Mumbai and Kolhapur in India. It operates as train number 11029 from Mumbai CSMT to Kolhapur SCSMT and as train number 11030 in the reverse direction. Koyna Dam
The Koyna Dam is one of the largest dams in Maharashtra, India. It is a rubble-concrete dam constructed on Koyna River which rises in Mahabaleshwar, a hillstation in Sahyadri ranges. Jath
Jat is a town and taluka headquarters in Miraj subdivision of Sangli district in southern Maharashtra. History Jat was the capital of a former Maratha jagir ruled by Dafales. Most of the dynasty period it was affiliated with Bijapur. For some time it was associated with Kolhapur as well as Satara Maratha dynasties. Later, Jat became a non-salute princely state until 8 March 1948 and then joined the Dominion of India. Then it was part of Satara district. Miraj (Pronunciation: iɾəd͡z ) is a city in Sangli District and also in Maharashtra, India, that was founded in the early 10th century. It was an important jagir of the Adil Shahi court of Bijapur. Shivaji Maharaj stayed in Miraj for two months during his South India Campaign. Because of its location, Miraj has been held as a strategic bastion.
