Mickey Arthur
John Michael Arthur (born 17 May 1968) is a South African-Australian cricket coach, commentator and former cricketer, who played in South African domestic cricket from 1986 to 2001. He has served as the head coach of the Derbyshire County Cricket Club since November 2021. He coached the South African national team from 2005 to 2010, was the coach of the Australia national cricket team from 2010 until his sacking in June 2013 (then to be replaced by Darren Lehmann) and was the coach of the Pakistan national cricket team from 2016 to 2019. In December 2019, Mickey was appointed as the new head coach of Sri Lanka by the Sri Lanka Cricket replacing interim coach Rumesh Ratnayake. Syed Imad Wasim Haider (in Punjabi and ur, ; born 18 December 1988), commonly known as Imad Wasim, is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is a left-handed all-rounder. In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In March 2019, he captained the Pakistan One Day International (ODI) team for the first time. Early and personal life Wasim was born in Swansea, Wales. 2019 Pakistan Super League
2019 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 4 or for sponsorship reasons HBL PSL 2019) was the fourth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The tournament took place from 14 February to 17 March 2019. In the championship game, Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by eight wickets in Karachi to win the title for the first time. Mohammad Hasnain of Quetta was named the Man of the Match of the Final. Shane Watson, also of Quetta, was awarded the Player of the Tournament award and the leading run scorer award with a total of 435 runs in the tournament. Kings were coached by Mickey Arthur and appointed Imad Wasim as their new Captain succeeding from Kumar Sangakara from 2017 edition.They finished the tournament on 3rd position as Peshawar Zalmi beat them by 13 runs in Eliminator round of PSL. The Karachi Kings is a franchise cricket team that represents Karachi in the Pakistan Super League since 2016 and is one of the expensive teams in League's history. They were one of the six teams that competed in the 2020 season. In the final, they beat Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets, to win their maiden PSL title. The team was captained by Imad Wasim, coached by Dean Jones, until his sudden death in September 2020. Babar Azam was the team's leading run-scorer while, Mohammad Amir was leading wicket-taker. The team won five of its ten fixtures with one being washed out, therefore, qualified for the play-offs. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league contested during February and March of every year by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
