Kanti Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah ( ne, कान्ति राज्यलक्ष्मीदेवी शाह; 5 July 1906 – 12 April 1973) was the Queen consort and first wife of Tribhuvan of Nepal, Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah, King of Kingdom of Nepal, Nepal. She was the mother of King Mahendra of Nepal, Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah. Life She was the daughter of Arjan Singh Sahib, Raja of Chhatara, Barhgaon and Awadh, Oudh and his wife, Krishnavati Devi Sahiba. She was married (at a young age in an arranged custom) at the Narayanhity Palace, Narayanhity Royal Palace, Kathmandu, in March 1919, to King Tribhuvan of Nepal as his first wife, in a double ceremony with her younger sister Ishwari Rajya Lakshmi Devi, Ishwari, as his second wife. Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah ( ne, श्री ५ महाराजाधिराज त्रिभुवन वीर विक्रम शाह देव ) (30 June 1906 – 13 March 1955) was King of Nepal from 11 December 1911 until his death. Born in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, he ascended to the throne at the age of five, upon the death of his father, Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah, and was crowned on 20 February 1913 at the Nasal Chowk, Hanuman Dhoka Palace in Kathmandu, with his mother acting as regent. At the time of his crowning, the position of monarch was largely ceremonial, with the real governing power residing with the Rana family. The Most Glorious Order of Ojaswi Rajanya ( ne, Ojaswi Rajanyako Manapadvi) was an order of knighthood of Nepal. It was given to foreign heads of state, foreign or Nepalese monarchs. History The order was instituted on 14 May 1934 by King Tribhuhvan Bir Bikram Shah Dev. It was the highest order of Nepal until Nepal Pratap Bhaskara was instituted in 1966. Insignia The ribbon of the order is light yellow with narrow white edge stripes. It has a badge worn on the chest and a badge on the sash ribbon. Ratna Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah (born 19 August 1928) is a member of the Nepalese Royal Family who was Queen consort of Nepal from 1955 to 1972 and Queen dowager from 1972 to 2008 when the royal family were stripped of all titles and privileges. She is the second wife of King Mahendra (1920–1972). Ratna belongs to the aristocratic Rana family and is the daughter of Field Marshal Hari Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana and his wife, Megha Kumari Rajya Lakshmi. Life Ratna's older sister Crown Princess Indra had married Crown Prince Mahendra in 1940 but died in 1950. Two years later, Ratna married Mahendra. Kanti Children's Hospital (Kanti Baal Aspatal) is a pediatric hospital in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal. The hospital is administered and regulated by the Kanti Children's Hospital Development Board, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal. The hospital treats children from all over the country and other hospitals. It has a capacity of 350 beds. There are 36 pediatricians, 8 pediatric surgeons, 45 medical officers, 84 general nurses, 25 technicians and paramedics and 107 support staff.
