Kangda Police Stadium
The Kangra Police Stadium is a cricket ground in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India. The ground first held a first-class match in 1990 when Himachal Pradesh played Haryana in the 1990/91 Ranji Trophy. The following season a further first-class match was held when Himachal Pradesh played the Services in the 1991/92 Ranji Trophy. No further major matches have been staged there. Dharamshala (; also spelled Dharamsala) is the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh, India. It serves as administrative headquarters of the Kangra district after being relocated from Kangra, a city located away from Dharamshala, in 1855. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Team
The Himachal Pradesh cricket team is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It has competed in the Ranji Trophy since the 1985–86 season. They have won their first ever domestic trophy, by winning the 2021–22 edition of Vijay Hazare Trophy. Playing history Himachal Pradesh lost all five of their matches in both 1985–86 and 1987–88 seasons by an innings. They won for the first time when they beat Services by one wicket in 1990–91. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. Haryana Cricket Team
The Haryana cricket team is a domestic cricket team run by the Haryana Cricket Association, representing the state of Haryana, India. The team participates in the Ranji Trophy, the top tier domestic first-class cricket tournament in India, as well as the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the top tier domestic List A tournament in India, and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, a domestic T20 tournament in India. The Ranji Trophy (also known as Mastercard Ranji Trophy for sponsorship reasons) is a domestic first-class cricket championship played in India between multiple teams representing regional and state cricket associations. Services Cricket Team
The Services cricket team plays in the Ranji Trophy, the main domestic first-class cricket competition in India. Under the auspices of the Services Sports Control Board, they represent the Indian Armed Forces. Their home ground is the Palam A Ground, Model Sports Complex, Delhi. Records The Services team first played in the Ranji Trophy in 1949–50. They played in the North Zone of the competition until 2001–02, and have played in the Plate Group and other lower-ranked groups since 2002–03, except for one season, where they played in the Elite Group, during 2005–06.
