Kangalal Kaidhu Sei
''Kangalal Kaidhu Sei'' () is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language musical romantic thriller film written by Sujatha and directed by Bharathiraja. It stars Vaseegaran in the protagonist's role and marks Priyamani's debut in the Tamil cinema. It also marks the only Tamil film performance by the veteran Sri Lankan actor Sanath Gunathilake. The cinematography was done by B. Kannan, while editing was done by K. Pazhanivel. The music was scored by A. R. Rahman, marking his fifth and final collaboration with Bharathiraja. The film revolves around a young, wealthy kleptomaniac's quest to find the love of his dreams in a young woman who is tasked to retrieve a stolen diamond from him. Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is an Indian film director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Making his debut in 1977 with ''16 Vayathinile'', he is known for realistic and sensitive portrayals of rural life in his films. As of 2017, he has won six National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Awards, Nandi Award. He has also directed films in Telugu language, Telugu and Hindi language, Hindi. Lake Thun (german: Thunersee) is an Alpine lake in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland named after the city of Thun, on its northern shore. Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer who sings in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films, working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu. Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four. In her later years, she learned from Sudha Raghunathan and currently from Suguna Purushotthaman. She used to participate in school competitions and in one such competition which she won, A. R. Chitra Iyer (also credited as Chitra Sivaraman) is an Indian playback singer who has worked in Indian and Italian films across five different industries primarily in Malayalam. A resident of Bangalore, Chitra worked extensively with A. R. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.
