Kang Wook-soon
Kang Wook-soon ( ko, 강욱순; born 2 June 1966) is a South Korean professional golfer. Professional career Kang has played on the Asian Tour since it began in its modern form in 1995. He topped the Order of Merit in 1996 and 1998 and was the first man to reach career earnings of US$500,000 on the tour. In 2002 he was the top player on the Korean Tour. In 2003 he missed out on a PGA Tour card by one shot after three-putting the last hole of Final Qualifying to make bogey. He still qualified to play the Nationwide Tour in 2004, but despite recording a top ten finish in his third outing he left after six events. He has seven career wins on the Asian Tour and a ten wins on the Korean Tour; including three Order of Merits wins in 1999, 2000 and 2001. Thongchai Jaidee ( th, ธงชัย ใจดี; , born 8 November 1969) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He formerly played on the Asian Tour and the European Tour. On the Asian Tour, he holds the record for the most career earnings and is second in victories having won 13 times. He has won the Order of Merit on the Asian Tour three times during his career. Jaidee was the first man to win US$2 million, US$3 million, US$4 million, and US$5 million on the Asian Tour in prize money. Kim Felton
Kim Felton (born 27 March 1975) is an Australian professional golfer. As an amateur, Felton won the Australian Amateur in 1997 and was the low individual in the 1998 Eisenhower Trophy. Felton turned professional in 1999 and played mainly on the PGA Tour of Australasia and its developmental Tour, the Von Nida Tour. He won five events on the Von Nida Tour as well as three other Australian events. Felton also played on the Nationwide Tour from 2005 to 2008 where he won the 2005 Knoxville Open. The GS Caltex Maekyung Open, as it is known for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. It was established in 1982, replacing the Korea Open as the South Korean event on the Asia Golf Circuit. Kyi Hla Han
Kyi Hla Han ( my, ကြည်လှဟန်, ; 13 February 1961 – 19 February 2022) was a professional golfer from Myanmar who served as executive chairman of the Asian Tour. Professional career Han turned professional in 1980. He recorded his first professional wins in 1983 at the Malaysian Dunlop Masters and the Malaysian PGA Championship. He played on the Asian Tour from its debut season in 1995 until 2004. In 1999 he was the top money winner on the tour and that year he collected his only win in an official money Asian Tour tournament at the Volvo China Open. In 2006, Han was appointed Chairman of the Asian Tour, upon the tour having been reconstituted in 2004 after having been taken over by the players themselves. The Taiwan Open was the national open golf tournament of Taiwan. It was also known as the Republic of China Open, ROC Open, Chinese Taipei Open, or simply the China Open. It was founded in 1965, and became an event on the Asia Golf Circuit the following year. The Asian PGA Tour was founded in 1995, and the Asian Circuit declined. Hsieh Chin-sheng
Hsieh Chin-sheng (, born 5 February 1963) is a Taiwanese professional golfer. He won twice on the 1988 Asia Golf Circuit, the Hong Kong Open and the Philippine Open. Amateur career Hsieh played for the Republic of China in the 1985 Nomura Cup in Australia, where the team finished second, and in the 1986 Eisenhower Trophy in Venezuela, where they finished third. He had the fourth best individual score in the Eisenhower Trophy event. Professional career Hsieh turned professional in 1986 after the Eisenhower Trophy.
