Kamøyfjorden
Kamøyfjorden ( sme, Gáhpevuotna) is a fjord on the northeastern side of the large island of Magerøya in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The long fjord runs from the Barents Sea southwest with two smaller fjords that branch off: the Skipsfjorden flowing to the south and the Duksfjorden flowing to the west. The mouth of the fjord spans between Beinviknæringen in the northwest and the Helnes Lighthouse in the southeast. The town of Honningsvåg lies just to the south of the fjord. The large Porsangerfjorden lies immediately to the east of this fjord. The Kamøyfjorden reaches a depth of at its deepest point, just northwest of Helnes. The islands of Store Kamøya and Lille Kamøya lie in the middle of the fjord and, just north of the fishing village of Kamøyvær. Duksfjorden
Duksfjorden ( sme, Diksovuotna) is an fjord arm that branches off the main Kamøyfjorden on the eastern side of the island of Magerøya in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The mouth of the inlet spans between Bryggnæringen in the north and the island of Store Kamøya in the south. The fjord extends about west to the end of the fjord. The fjord reaches a depth of about at its deepest point at the outer reaches of the fjord. Just beside Store Kamøya lies the island of Lille Kamøya and south of this lies the village of Kamøyvær. Risfjorden Between the island of Magerøya itself and Lille Kamøya, the little fjord of Risfjorden branches off the Duksfjorden and runs south, past Kamøyvær and the hamlet of Kuvika. Skipsfjorden ( sme, Skiipavuotna) is the southern arm of the Kamøyfjorden, a fjord on the eastern side of the island of Magerøya in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The mouth of the fjord spans between the Skipsfjordneset headland in the northwest and Selvågklubben peninsula in the southeast. The fjord extends about to the west, and the island of Trollholmen is located near the end of the fjord. The fjord reaches a maximum depth of at the outer reaches of the fjord. The small village of Skipsfjord lies along the north side of the bottom of the fjord, while the hamlets of Valan and Austerelva are situated on the south side. Lille Kamøya ( sme, Uhca Gáhpesuolu) is a small island in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located just off the eastern coast of the large island of Magerøya. It lies where the Duksfjorden meets the Kamøyfjorden, just to the northwest of the island of Store Kamøya and to the north of the fishing village of Kamøyvær. The island helps to shelter Kamøyvær's harbour from the open sea. Kamøyvær
Kamøyvær is a fishing village in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The village lies along the Kamøyfjorden on the east side of the island of Magerøya, about northwest of the town of Honningsvåg. It sits at the end of a cul-de-sac road, the Norwegian County Road 172. About south of the village, the road meets the European route E69, the main road leading to the North Cape. The village is sheltered from the open sea by the islands of Lille Kamøya and Store Kamøya, the water between the village and the latter being called the Østersundet. There are around 70 inhabitants in the village. Although there are no ethnic distinctions today, the people of the village are descended from coastal Sami and Kven as well as Norwegians. In the summer of 2012, the labour force in the village included people from the Baltic states. European Route E69
European route E69 is an E-road between Olderfjord and North Cape in northern Norway. The road is long. It contains five tunnels, totalling . The longest, the North Cape Tunnel, is long and reaches below sea level. During the winter months is the northernmost part of the road (Skarsvåg-North Cape) available only to convoys, driving at fixed times, if weather permits.
