''Echoes'' is a remix album by Industrial band Front Line Assembly. It was released on May 13, 2014 through Metropolis. Release and promotion At the same time they released '' Echogenetic'' (2013), Front Line Assembly announced plans to follow up with a remix album. The names of the first few remixers were revealed in July 2013. A poll on Facebook where the band asked their fans who should deliver a remix received more than 300 responses. A more comprehensive and confirmed list of remixers followed in December 2013. The release date of ''Echoes'' was disclosed in February 2014, followed by the track list. In April, snippets of the album were available at Metropolis. Other online music platforms provided longer snippets shortly before actual release in May. Metropolis issued ''Echoes'' as regular physical CD edition with 14 tracks and in a deluxe version. WarMech
''WarMech'' is a video game soundtrack album by Vancouver-based electro-industrial band Front Line Assembly. The album was released through Artoffact Records on June 22, 2018 as the soundtrack to Carbon Games' ''AirMech Wastelands'', a sequel to the 2012 video game ''AirMech'' that also featured a soundtrack by Front Line Assembly. ''WarMech'' features Jeremy Inkel's final recordings, as he died on January 13, 2018. The songs "Mechvirus" and "Molotov" were released for early streaming through the group's Bandcamp account. Front Line Assembly
Front Line Assembly (FLA) is a Canadian electro-industrial band formed by Bill Leeb in 1986 after leaving Skinny Puppy. FLA has developed its own sound incorporating elements of electronic body music and electro-industrial. The band's membership has rotated through the years, including Michael Balch, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson, all of whom are associated with several other acts. Since their inception, the group have produced over a dozen studio albums and EPs, several of which have charted on '' Billboards Top Dance/Electronic Album chart. The albums '' Tactical Neural Implant'' and '' Hard Wired'' are two of the group's most successful records, the former being considered a classic among industrial music fans. Métropolis (concert Hall)
The M Telus (formerly known as Métropolis) is a performing arts centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located in the central part of the downtown core, on Saint Catherine Street East between Saint-Dominique and De Bullion Streets, in the Quartier des Spectacles. The hall primarily features rock music groups, and is a venue for several festivals, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival and the FrancoFolies de Montréal. Bill Leeb
Wilhelm Anton "Bill" Leeb (born 21 September 1966, in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian-Canadian electronic musician and record producer. He is best known for being a founding member of the industrial music group Front Line Assembly. Additionally, Leeb is known for his work with groups such as Noise Unit, Delerium, Intermix, and Skinny Puppy, among others. Career Leeb began his musical career with industrial band Skinny Puppy in 1985 under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder, contributing bass synth and occasional backing vocals to a few of their recordings and concerts. He left in 1986 and formed his own industrial project Front Line Assembly with Michael Balch, and later Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson. Jeremy Inkel
Jeremy Michel Neville Inkel (8 February 1983 – 11 January 2018) was a Canadian electronic musician based in Vancouver. He was best known as a keyboard player and programmer for Left Spine Down and electro-industrial band Front Line Assembly as well as producing tracks for various well known musicians worldwide. He began his work with Left spine Down in 2003 when he replaced original member Frank Valoczy. He was invited into Front Line Assembly in 2005 and made his first contributions to their 2006 album ''Artificial Soldier''. He also made contributions to Front Line Assembly side-projects Noise Unit and Delerium. Inkel died from complications with asthma at the age of 34 on January 11, 2018. Jared Slingerland (born January 16, 1984) is a Canadian guitarist and electronic musician based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Live sound mixing is the blending of multiple sound sources by an audio engineer using a mixing console or software. Sounds that are mixed include those from instruments and voices which are picked up by microphones (for drum kit, lead vocals and acoustic instruments like piano or saxophone and pickups for instruments such as electric bass) and pre-recorded material, such as songs on CD or a digital audio player.
