is the eighth single by Japanese girl group NMB48. It was released on October 2, 2013, and reached the number one on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. Background Kamonegikkusu means "Kamo ga negi wo shotte kuru" (lit. a duck comes carrying a Welsh onion on its back) is a Japanese proverb that means a stroke of luck occurs, and things become more and more convenient. According to NMB48 member Sayaka Yamamoto, "The title was a coined word by Yasushi Akimoto". It is a song about a girl who despite being a convenience just like Kamonegi, does not learn from her mistakes and falls in love." Due to restrictions from Avex Trax, full version MV from main track is included only in limited editions, and wasn't released on YouTube. Sayaka Yamamoto
is a Japanese singer and songwriter signed to Universal Sigma. She is a former member of the Japanese idol girl group NMB48, where she served as captain of both the whole group as well as Team N, and a former member of AKB48's Team K. She made her debut as a solo artist in October 2016 with her first studio album "Rainbow" while she was still in NMB48, and her releases regularly place in the top ten of the Oricon weekly charts. NMB48 (read "N.M.B. Forty-eight") is a Japanese idol group that debuted in 2011 as the second sister group to AKB48, produced by Yasushi Akimoto. is a Japanese record producer, lyricist, and television writer, best known for creating and producing some of Japan's top idol groups, Onyanko Club and the AKB48 franchise. Total sales of the singles he has written exceed 100 million copies, making him the best-selling lyricist in Japan. Career Akimoto created the ''Chakushin Ari'' (''One Missed Call'') horror franchise, which began with his novel of the same name and was first brought to film in 2003 before being remade by Hollywood in 2008.
