Kamil Durczok
Kamil Sebastian Durczok (6 March 1968 – 16 November 2021) was a Polish journalist, Editor-in-Chief and presenter of TVN newscast '' Fakty TVN''. Career In 1991 Durczok started working in Radio Katowice. Earlier he had co-created Student's Radio EGIDA on University of Silesia in Katowice for few years. As a 24-year-old he became director and editor-in-chief of Katowice radio TOP FM owned by Solidarity. In 1994 he started co-operation with Telewizja Katowice where he interviewed politicians in a programme called ''Obserwatorium''. In programme ''Studio Parlamentarne'' he debuted in nationwide television. Then he was the presenter of TVP3 Katowice newscast - ''Aktualności'' until 2002. Between 15 March 2001 and 7 February 2006 he was the presenter of the main edition of ''Wiadomości'' - public television's newscast. He also presented election nights on TVP1 for many years. Tomasz Rafał Lis (born 6 March 1966 in Zielona Góra) is a Polish journalist and former TV anchor of “TVN Fakty” ("TVN Facts") and “Wydarzenia” ("Events"). Life and career Lis was born on 6 March 1966 in Zielona Góra to parents Stefan and Wanda (née Adamkiewicz). He attended the Edward Dembowski High School No. 1 in Zielona Góra. He subsequently graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Political Sciences at the University of Warsaw. He began his career in 1984 publishing an article in a pro-Soviet newspaper ''Banner of Youth'' (''Sztandar Młodych''), an organ of the Union of Socialistic Youth in Poland (Związek Socjalistycznej Młodzieży Polskiej). In 1992, he received a scholarship and studied for a year at Loyola University New Orleans. Polsat News is a Polish news channel, launched on 7 June 2008 at 7:00am (UTC+1). Being a part of the Polsat Network, Polsat News is owned by Polsat Group. It is available over Cyfrowy Polsat, nc+ and UPC Poland digital platforms in Poland. It is broadcast on Hot Bird 6, 11158V, 27500 3/4. TVN24 is a Polish 24-hour commercial news channel, launched on 9 August 2001. Being a part of the TVN Network, TVN24 has been owned since July 2017 by US-based media company Warner Bros. Discovery. It gained broader popularity after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US, which was the first major incident to be covered by TVN24.
