Al-Kamil ( ar, الكامل) (full name: al-Malik al-Kamil Naser ad-Din Abu al-Ma'ali Muhammad) (c. 1177 – 6 March 1238) was a Muslim ruler and the fourth Ayyubid sultan of Egypt. During his tenure as sultan, the Ayyubids defeated the Fifth Crusade. He was known to the Frankish crusaders as Meledin, a name by which he is still referred to in some older western sources. As a result of the Sixth Crusade, he ceded West Jerusalem to the Christians and is known to have met with Saint Francis. Kamil Paweł Grosicki (; born 8 June 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ekstraklasa club Pogoń Szczecin and the Poland national team. A full international for Poland with over eighty caps since 2008, he represented the country at UEFA Euro 2012 and Euro 2016, as well as the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup. Kamil Jacek Glik (Polish pronunciation: ; born 3 February 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Serie B club Benevento and the Poland national team. The previous clubs Glik played for include Piast Gliwice from 2008 to 2010, Palermo from 2010 to 2011, Torino from 2011 to 2016 and Monaco from 2017 to 2020, the latter two of which he was appointed captain of the team. Kamil Hornoch (; born 5 December 1972) is a Czech astronomer who discovered dozens of novae in nearby galaxies. The main belt asteroid 14124 Kamil is named in his honour. Astronomy Kamil Hornoch became interested in astronomy in 1984. One year later he started with his scientific observations of comets, meteors, the solar photosphere, variable stars, the planets and occultations. He lives in Lelekovice, a village in the South Moravian Region, the Czech Republic. Hornoch makes most of his observations from a small observatory in Lelekovice with a reflector telescope. Although he uses a CCD camera, he is also good in visual estimates of star luminosity, reaching an accuracy of 0.03 magnitude (confirmed by separate photoelectric measurements). Kamil Kopúnek (born 18 May 1984) is a Slovak former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Spartak Trnava Kamil Kopúnek started his career with his local club, Spartak Trnava. Kamil Bednář
Kamil Bednář (4 July 1912 – 23 May 1972), also known by his pen name "Prokop Kouba", was a Czechoslovak poet, translator, prose writer, dramatist and publishing house editor. Life Bednář was born in Prague. After 1931, he studied law, and then six years of philosophy in Charles University. After he finished his studies in 1939, he worked in the publishing house Melantrich, from 1949 in the publishing house '' Československý spisovatel''. Since 1959 he dedicated himself only to the literature.
