Kamal Singh Airee
Kamal Singh Airee (born 19 December 2000) is a Nepalese cricketer. In November 2017, he was part of Nepal's U19 cricket team that beat India in the 2017 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup. In January 2020, he earned his first call-up to the national side, for the One Day International (ODI) tri-series in Nepal. He made his ODI debut for Nepal, against Oman, on 9 February 2020. In April 2021, he was named in Nepal's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. 2020 Nepal Tri-Nation Series
The 2020 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was the fifth round of the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 cricket tournament and took place in Nepal in February 2020. It was a tri-nation series between Nepal, Oman and the United States cricket teams, with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures. The ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 formed part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The matches were the first ODIs to be played in Nepal. 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series
The 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 international cricket tournament that took place in April 2021 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands. The matches were all played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament was played in a double round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides. The penultimate round-robin match, between Malaysia and the Netherlands, ended in a tie.
