Kalyana Vaibhogam
''Kalyana Vaibhogam'' () is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by N. Rathnam, who had previously directed the film ''Chellakannu'' (1995). The film stars Ramki, Khushbu and Sangita, with Vadivelu, R. Sundarrajan, V. K. Ramasamy, Vennira Aadai Moorthy, Vijay Krishnaraj and Haja Shareef playing supporting roles. The film had musical score by Deva and was released on 5 September 1997. The film was a remake of Hindi film '' Aaina'' (1993). Plot Ramya and Shanthi are step-sisters. Ramya is arrogant while Shanthi is soft-spoken and sensitive. Sakthi is a writer and becomes popular by writing short stories in Tamil weekly magazines. Ramki
Ramakrishnan, better known by his stage name Ramki, is an Indian actor best known for his work in Tamil and Telugu films. He made his debut in ''Chinna Poove Mella Pesu'' (1987). He was a lead actor from 1987 to 2004. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935.
