Kalpana House
''Kalpana House'' is a 1989 Indian Malayalam-language horror film, directed by P. Chandrakumar. The film stars Kapil Dev, Divya, Abhilasha and Shafeeq. The film has musical score by Anu Malik. It was dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu as Bungalow No 666, Amavasai Iravil, Inti No.13 Respectively. Plot Kalpana House is basically an unofficial Malayalam remake of ''Fright Night''. Tony (Shafiq) keeps seeing strange things at his next door neighbor's house. Coffins and strange crates come in and out of the house, and women go into the house only to disappear. Tony gets the cops involved only to prove nothing, and hires a big muscle-bound ruffian to break in only to be killed. But when a vampire named John Peter (Kapil Dev) visits his house and threatens his life, ending in a confrontation where Tony stabs the vampire in the hand with a paint brush, Tony then gets help from his best friend with a truly annoying laugh who directs him to a priest. Shafeeq (actor)
Shafeeq Talwanga is an Indian actor, who has primarily worked in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. He appears mainly in offbeat films. His debut Malayalam film ''Love Story'' was a sensational hit and he was considered as a rival to '' Rahman'', the romantic hero of Malayalam films. It was Shafeeq, who brought ''Break Dance'' movements in Malayalam films, but his subsequent movies like ''Naalae Njngalude Vivaham'' failed and he could not sustain his success. Poovachal Khader (25 December 1948 – 22 June 2021) was a Malayalam lyricist from Kerala who worked mainly in Malayalam film industry. His first movie as a lyricist was ''Kaattuvithachavan'' (1973) but his first released movie was ''Chuzhi'' (1973). Biography Khader was born on Christmas day in 1948, in a village named Poovachal in the present-day Thiruvananthapuram district. His original name is Muhammed Abdul Khader. His parents are Aboobacker Pillai and Rabiyathul Adabiya Beevi. Chuzhi released in 1973 under the musical direction of M. S. Baburaj was the first movie released after Poovachal Khader entered the industry as a lyricist and was proud of having written lyrics for more than 900 songs in the Malayalam film industry.
