Abhilasha (TV Series)
''Abhilasha'' was an Indian Telugu language soap opera starring Spandana, Rohit Sahni as main protagonists and Ajay Raj, Sirisha Sougandh in pivotal roles. It aired on Gemini TV from 26 August 2019 to 18 January 2020. The serial was directed by Kumar M and produced by Shashi Sumeet productions. It is the remake of Kannada television series ''Naanu Nanna kanasu'' which was aired on Udaya TV. Plot The story revolves around Janaki, an academically brilliant student who aspires to fulfill her father's dream by becoming a successful doctor in future. ''Abhilasha'' () is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language thriller film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by K. S. Rama Rao. The film stars Chiranjeevi and Raadhika while Rao Gopal Rao and Gollapudi Maruti Rao play vital roles and the music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja. An adaptation of Yandamuri Veerendranath's novel of the same name, it revolves around a young lawyer striving to end capital punishment in India, but gets himself entangled in a murder case. The film released theatrically on 11 March 1983 to positive response and was commercial success. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Sattathai Thiruthungal'' (1984). Abhilasha Gupta Nandi is a politician from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is present mayor of the Allahabad Municipal Corporation. She was elected mayor on 7 July 2012, becoming the youngest person to have been elected to the post. Abhilasha Kumari (born 23 February 1956) is currently Judicial Member of Lokpal Committee of India since 23 March 2019. She is a former judge who served on the High Court of Gujarat from 2006 to 2018, and as the first female Chief Justice on the Manipur High Court in 2018. Abhilasha Mhatre is an Indian professional kabaddi player and was the Captain of Indian National Women's Kabaddi Team. She has won the Arjuna Award of Government of India in 2015.
