Kaliber 44
Kaliber 44 is a hip hop band formed at the end of 1994 in Katowice, Poland. The group is dubbed the most influential Polish hip hop band, while their so-called ''hardcore psycho rap'' style is the most prominent. As revealed by Abradab in an interview aired on TVP, "the name comes from the time we weren't completely sane and played gangsta". Later on members provided a revised interpretation: first part of the name indicates the calibre of problems the group sings about. The number ''44'' is a reference to a prophetic poem Dziady written by Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz. " Księga Tajemnicza. Prolog", released in 1996, was the first Polish hardcore psychorap album and the second one where live-scratching technique was used. Their two other albums – "W 63 minuty dookoła świata ''W 63 minuty dookoła świata'' (Polish: ''Around the world in 63 minutes'') is the second studio album by Polish hip-hop group Kaliber 44 released March 2, 1998 on S.P. Records. On November 25, 1998 ...

Dziady (poem)
''Dziady'' (, ''Forefathers' Eve'') is a poetic drama by the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz. It is considered one of the greatest works of both Polish and European Romanticism.G. Sand, ''Goethe - Byron - Mickiewicz'' in ''Revue des Deux Mondes'', 1 December 1839. To George Sand and Georg Brandes, ''Dziady'' was a supreme realization of Romantic drama theory, to be ranked with such works as Goethe's ''Faust'' and Byron's ''Manfred''. The drama's title refers to ''Dziady'', an ancient Slavic and Lithuanian feast commemorating the dead (the "forefathers"). The drama has four parts, the first of which was never finished. Parts I, II and IV were influenced by Gothic fiction and Byron's poetry. Part III joins historiosophical and individual visions of pain and annexation, especially under the 18th-century partitions of Poland. Part III was written ten years after the others and differs greatly from them. The first to have been composed is "Dziady, Part II," dedicated chiefly to the ''D ...
