''Noyoner Alo'' (English: Eyesight) ( bn, নয়নের আলো) is a 1984 Bangladeshi film directed by Belal Ahmed. It stars Zafar Iqbal, Kajori, Subarna Mustafa, Raisul Islam Asad, Prabir Mitra and Anwar Hossain. The film was remade into Bengali cinema in 1998 with the same title starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Tapas Paul. Belal Ahmed garnered Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Cinematographer. Mahanayak (film)
''Mahanayak'' is a 1985 drama film written and directed by Alamgir Kabir. The film is based on the love story of an unemployed youth. Bulbul Ahmed played the main character. Other characters include Kajori, Julia, Rina Khan, Shawkat Akbar, Ahmed Sharif and others. Plot Unemployed Rana is not getting a job. He stays in the same room with his friend Dildar. Dildar takes him to his master. With the permission of Ustad Kalu Khan, he started stealing people's wallets. Dildar trained him in the pickpocketing. But after he is caught, he goes to Peter Saxena. Peter invites him to join his smuggling. Rana responds and goes to see Peter in his office. But Kalu's man sees it and informs Kalu. Kalu threatens Rana. Bulbul Ahmed
Bulbul Ahmed (born Tabarruk Ahmed; 4 September 1941 – 15 July 2010) was a Bangladeshi actor and director. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor award three times for his roles in the films ''Shimana Periye'' (1977), '' Badhu Biday'' (1978) and ''Shesh Uttar'' (1980). Besides, he was the producer of the film ''Rajlakshmi Srikanta'' (1987) which won the Best Film award. Early life and career Ahmed's father, Khalil Ahmed, was a government employee and an amateur actor. Ahmed started his acting career through stage drama in 1965. He began acting in television roles in 1968. He first appeared in films in 1973 as a supporting actor in ''Iye Korey Biye''. Zafar Iqbal (actor)
Zafar Iqbal (born 25 September 1950 or 25 April 1950 – died 6 January 1991 or 1992) was a Bangladeshi actor, singer and freedom fighter. He acted in 150 films. Singer Shahnaz Rahmatullah and music composer Anwar Pervez (musician), Anwar Parvez were his siblings. Background Iqbal learned to play guitar in the 1970s. He formed his own band ''Rambling Stone'' in 1966 with two of his friends named Mukit & Akash. The band used to perform regularly at the hotel InterContinental Dhaka. Music director Robin Ghosh hired him as a session guitarist for his upcoming film ''Pitch Dhala Poth''.
