Kai G. Henriksen
Kai Henning Gjesdal Henriksen (21 May 1956 – 27 May 2016) was a Norwegian businessman. A former politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, and having served a period as the chief executive officer of Storebrand Bank, Henriksen was CEO of the Norwegian government-owned wine and spirits retail monopoly company, AS Vinmonopolet from 2006 until his death in 2016. Early career Henriksen served his mandatory military service from 1975 to 1976 in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Henriksen holds a cand.polit. degree from the University of Oslo which he attended from 1978 to 1984, a period during which he also worked as a journalist for regional newspaper '' Østlandets Blad''. While studying French in Tours during the early 1980s, Henriksen has stated he first discovered wine while there. Rolf Presthus (29 July 1936 – 1 January 1988) was a Norwegian politician and lawyer, who was chairman of the Norwegian Conservative Party from 1986 to 1988. Presthus served as Minister of Finance 1981–1986, and Minister of Defence in 1986. He was a member of parliament from Akershus from 1969 to 1988, and mayor of Oppegård from 1968 to 1969. At the Conservative party conference in 1987 he became the first Norwegian politician to use a teleprompter during a speech. Master of Wine (MW) is a qualification (not an academic degree) issued by The Institute of Masters of Wine in the United Kingdom. The MW qualification is generally regarded in the wine industry as one of the highest standards of professional knowledge. Knut Grøholt (born 18 June 1942) is a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Oslo, was educated with the siviløkonom, siv.øk. degree and later took the Ph.D. degree. He was hired in the Norwegian Ministry of Local Government and Labour in 1973, and was promoted to deputy under-secretary of state in 1985.
