Kadavul Tandavas
''Kadavul'' () is a 1997 Tamil language film directed by Velu Prabhakaran. The film stars Velu Prabhakaran, Manivannan, C. Arunpandian, Arun Pandiyan, Mansoor Ali Khan (actor), Mansoor Ali Khan and Roja Selvamani, Roja. The film, produced by H. Anraaj, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 5 December 1997. Despite having controversial themes, the film was well received. Plot Parvathi (Roja Selvamani, Roja), a young woman, is a goddess believer while her father (V. Gopalakrishnan) is the priest of a temple. After a quarrel between two castes during a Hindu festival, the temple was closed off. Five years later, the temple reopens. Muthu (Rahul) and Thenmozhi (Nandhini) are in love but they are not of the same caste. Velusamy (Karikalan), Thenmozhi's uncle, finds out their love and forces her to marry him. K. Velu Prabhakaran
Velu Prabakaran is an Indian filmmaker, cinematographer and actor. He is known for his themes highlighting atheism and revolutionary subjects in his films. Career Velu Prabakaran began as a cinematographer before making his directorial debut with the 1989 horror film ''Nalaya Manithan'', before also directing its sequel ''Adhisaya Manithan'' (1990). He then made two more consecutive action films under R. K. Selvamani's production in '' Asuran'' and '' Rajali'', with both becoming box office failures. He then worked on action films with lead characters, who often featured as a revolutionary, making '' Kadavul'' (1997), ''Sivan'' (1999) and '' Puratchikkaaran'' (2000). Lahari Recording Company is an Indian music company based in Bangalore. It owns a music label called "Lahari Music" also a film production company called "Lahari Films LLP". They later ventured into construction under the name of HomEquity India Private Limited brand. History The company was established in 1974 by Manohar Naidu with a seed capital of Rs.500. Over the last three decades it has acquired Premaloka in Kannada, Roja, Dalapathi in Tamil and Telugu and Malayalam languages. In addition to film songs, Lahari music also produces sugam sangeetha, folk, classical and devotional albums. Arunmozhi
Arunmozhi ( ta, அருண்மொழி) (also called Napoleon Selvaraj) (born 1951) is an Indian playback singer and well-known flutist. He has sung songs composed by leading Indian film industry music directors, including Ilaiyaraaja, Shankar Ganesh, Deva, S. A. Rajkumar, Viji Manuel, Swararaj, Harris Jayaraj, Sirpy, Vidyasagar, Soundaryan, Karthik Raja, Siva, Masa, Dhina and Yuvan Shankar Raja. He has also performed in live concerts across the world. He is a part of Ilaiyaraaja's musical troupe, playing flute. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode.
