Kajuru ( Adara: Ajure) is a local government area in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Kajuru. The local government is located on longitude 9° 59'N and 10° 55'N and latitude 7° 34'E and 8° 13'E, with an area of 2,229 km2. History It was carved out of Chikun Local Government Area in March 1997 by the military administration of Gen. Sani Abacha's regime. At creation, it was made up of two traditional districts, Kajuru and Kufana. Additional districts were created, bringing the number to 14 districts (Toro 2001), now 10. Adara People
Adara people (also Eda and ''Kadara''), are an ethnic group in the Middle Belt who speak the Adara language, a north Plateau languages, Plateau language of Nigeria. Bakulu People
Bakulu people (also Ikolu, Ikulu, Bekulu) are a people found in Zangon Kataf, Kachia and Kauru Local Government Areas of southern Kaduna State of Middle Belt, Nigeria. They speak a Plateau language called Kulu. They call their land ''Akulu''. Religion A majority of the Bakulu people were reportedly adherents of traditional religion, numbering about 29.5% of the entire population, while Muslims number 0.5% and Christians with 70.0% of the population. Bajju People
The Ba̠jju are an ethnic group found in the Middle Belt (Central) area of Nigeria. The word Ba̠jju is a short for "Ba̠nyet Jju" which simply means "Jju People" and is used to refer to the speakers of the Jju language, Jju language found in the Ka̠jju, the homeland of the Jju people. They are found in the Southern part of Kaduna State, chiefly in Kachia, Zangon Kataf, Jama'a and in Kaduna South Local Government Areas. Ham People
The Ham people are an ethnic group found in the southern part of Kaduna State in the northwestern region of Nigeria, predominantly in Jaba, Kachia and Kagarko Local Government Areas of southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. They speak the Hyam language and refer to themselves as Ham. They are known as the 'Jaba' in Hausa, but a recent study by a linguist who is a native of the area (John 2017) has definitely proven that the label 'Jaba' was derogatory and should be rejected. Martin Luther Agwai (born 8 November 1948) is a retired Nigerian army officer who served as Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Army Staff. He is the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Calabar Early life and education Agwai was born on November 8, 1948 in Kaduna, a city in Northern Nigeria, to the family of Agwai Gidan Mana, a Police Constable and Shera Agwai, a housewife.
