Sheema, also Sheema Municipality, is an urban centre in the Western Region of Uganda. It is the largest municipality in Sheema District. Location Sheema lies on the Mbarara–Ishaka Road, approximately , by road, west of Mbarara, the largest city in the sub-region. This is about east of Ishaka. The coordinates of the town are:0°34'52.0"S, 30°22'46.0"E (Latitude:-0.581111; Longitude). The elevation of the Kibingo neighborhood in Sheema Municipality is , above sea level. Ankole Western University
Ankole Western University is an Anglican institution of higher learning in Uganda. It is owned and administered by the Western Ankole Diocese of the Church of Uganda. Pride Microfinance Limited (PMFL), is a microfinance deposit-taking institution (MDI) in Uganda. It is licensed by the Bank of Uganda, the central bank and national banking regulator. PMFL provides financial services to that segment of the Ugandan population who are not served or are unable to access financial services through Ugandan commercial banks.
