Kaarlo Bergbom
Kaarlo Bergbom (2 October 1843, Vyborg, Viipuri – 17 January 1906) was a Finland, Finnish theatre director. He was the founder of the Finnish National Theatre, the first Finnish language theatre company. Though he wrote very little as a playwright, he was responsible for introducing a number of important Finnish dramatists, particularly Minna Canth, and Finnish translations of William Shakespeare and other foreign writers. Bergbom also founded the magazine ''Kirjallinen Kuukausilehti''. He was the brother of senator Ossian Wuorenheimo and Emilie Bergbom. He is buried in the Hietaniemi Cemetery in Helsinki. Hietaniemi Cemetery
The Hietaniemi cemetery ( fi, Hietaniemen hautausmaa, sv, Sandudds begravningsplats) is located mainly in the Lapinlahti quarter and partly in the Etu-Töölö district of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. It is the location for Finnish state funeral services and is owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The cemetery includes a large military cemetery section for soldiers from the capital fallen in the wars against the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany: in the Winter War (1939–1940), the Continuation War (1941–1944) and the Lapland War (1944–1945). In the centre of the military cemetery are the tombs of the unknown soldier and Marshal C. G. E. Mannerheim. Other notable sections of the cemetery are the cemetery of the Finnish Guard, the Artist's Hill and the Statesmen's Grove. There are two Lutheran funerary chapels and a crematorium at the area. ''Emilie'' Sofia Bergbom (1834−1905) was a Finnish theater director. She was a supporter of the Fennoman movement. She was joint director of the Finnish National Theatre with her brother Kaarlo Bergbom Kaarlo Bergbom (2 October 1843, Vyborg, Viipuri – 17 January 1906) was a Finland, Finnish theatre director.
