KZMJ
KZMJ (94.5 FM) is a radio station serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. The station airs an urban adult contemporary format. The station is licensed to Gainesville and is owned by Urban One. Co-owned with KBFB and Reach Media, its studios are located in the Stone Tower Building in North Dallas, and its transmitter is located in Collinsville. KZMJ broadcasts in HD. History 94.5 FM signed on in 1958 as KGAF-FM, the sister station to KGAF/1580. The station was owned by the Leonard Brothers, and the transmitter was east of Gainesville. KGAF would last until the 1980s, when the 94.5 frequency would be sold off. KDNT-FM 94.5 was then sold to Mel Wheeler, who owned 106.1 (now KHKS). KDNT-FM broadcast a country format, which was previously on 106.1. North Dallas is an area of numerous communities and neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas (United States). The Ramones
The Ramones were an American punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens, in 1974. They are often cited as the first true punk rock group. "Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio?" is a song by American punk rock band Ramones', released as the second single and opening track from the band's fifth studio album ''End of the Century'' (1980). It was released on May 16, 1980. Produced by veteran record producer Phil Spector, the song and album marked a change in the Ramones' sound, in an increased attempt to achieve commercial success. Based on many of the 1950s rock and pop songs the band grew up listening to, the song featured more complex instrumentation and production than past songs by the band, employing the use of a piano, trumpet, horn, saxophone, and synthesizer, along with the standard guitar, drums and bass. The album's title ''End of the Century'' came from a couplet found in the lyrics of the song: "It's the end, the end of the seventies/It's the end, the end of the century."
