Łomianki
Łomianki is a town in Warsaw West County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. It had a population of 16,374 in 2008, and 24,328 in 2016. It is part of the Warsaw metropolitan area. It was the site of the Battle of Łomianki between Polish and German troops, fought on September 22, 1939 during the invasion of Poland, which started World War II. Marek Papszun (born 8 August 1974) is a Polish professional football manager who managed Ekstraklasa club Raków Częstochowa from 2016 to 2023. Managerial career Early years In 2010, Papszun was appointed manager of Polish sixth division side KS Łomianki, helping them achieve promotion to the Polish fifth division. In 2011, he was appointed manager of Legionovia Legionowo in the Polish fourth division, helping them achieve promotion to the Polish third division. In 2016, he was appointed manager of Polish third division club Raków Częstochowa, helping them achieve promotion to the Polish Ekstraklasa within 3 seasons and receiving interest from Legia, the most successful club in Poland.
