2001–02 Polish Cup
The 2001–02 Polish Cup was the forty-eighth season of the annual Polish cup competition. It began on 12 September 2001 with the preliminary round and ended on 10 May 2002 with second leg of the final, played at Stadion Miejski, Kraków. The winners qualified for the qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. Polonia Warsaw were the defending champions. Polonia Warsaw ( pl, Polonia Warszawa, ), founded on 19 November 1911, is the oldest existing Varsovian sports club, best known for its football and basketball teams. It also has track and field, swimming, chess, mountain biking, and contract bridge sections. Polar Wrocław is a Polish sports club based in the Zakrzów Osiedle, district of Wrocław, Poland, named after the local electronics company "Polar". The women's field hockey team exists since 1967. KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski () is a Polish football club based in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland. It was founded on August 11, 1929. History Initially, a club called ''Ostrovia'' existed in the city. It was established between 1922 and 1924 and dissolved in 1926. KSZO was established in 1929. Kaszubia Kościerzyna is a football club based in Kościerzyna (Poland). They play in IV liga (5th level). "Kaszubia" refers to the Kashubian regional and ethnic identity. History The beginning of football in Kościerzyna can be traced back to the very early 20th Century. The first club of note was "Towarzystwo Gimnastyczne Sokół" which had one of their branches in the town in 1922. RKS Radomsko is an association football club based in the city of Radomsko, in the south of Poland. Their home stadium is Stadion RKS. Currently, they compete in the IV liga group Łódź. Elana Toruń
Elana Toruń is a Polish football club based in Toruń. It competes in the IV liga, 5th tier of the Polish football league system (2022–23 season). History The team was at the 2nd level of the Polish pyramid in the 1990s, but were relegated in 1998/99.
