KPCW
KPCW is a public radio station in Park City, Utah, serving Summit and Wasatch counties broadcasting at 91.7 FM, Coalville and Kamas at 88.1 FM, and the Heber Valley at 91.9 FM. In addition to local news and information, it carries national and international news from NPR, PRI and the BBC. KPCW is owned by Community Wireless of Park City. The programs of KPCW(FM) were also carried on KPMD, 88.1, Evanston, Wyoming until 2011. Community Wireless also formerly operated KCPW-FM in Salt Lake City, but that station was sold to a new organization, Wasatch Public Media, in 2008. Beginning on March 20, 2009, KCPW (AM) became KPCW (AM) simulcasting its FM sister. Late in August 2009 KPCW (AM) 1010 was sold to Immaculate Heart Radio, is now known as KIHU, and now broadcasts that organization's programs. KCPW-FM
KCPW-FM (88.3 MHz) is a public radio station in Salt Lake City, Utah. It airs local news and music programming, as well as network shows from American Public Media, Public Radio International, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the BBC. It broadcasts from studios at the Salt Lake City Public Library in Downtown Salt Lake City at Library Square. KCPW-FM is owned by Wasatch Public Media. Its previous transmitter was located atop the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Salt Lake City for much of its history. It is currently located in the Oquirrh Mountains Range southwest of West Valley City. The 88.3 FM frequency does not broadcast in stereo audio, to improve reception in marginal signal areas. Due to other stations on 88.3 FM and adjacent frequencies in nearby cities, KCPW-FM has an effective radiated power of 450 watts. KUUU (92.5 FM, "92.5 The Beat") is a radio station licensed to South Jordan, Utah, serving the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Owned by Broadway Media, the station primarily broadcasts a classic hip-hop format during the daytime hours, but transitions to a rhythmic contemporary-based playlist during the evening and overnight hours. The station's studios are located in Downtown Salt Lake City and its transmitter site is located southwest of the city on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains. KUUU broadcasts in HD Radio, carrying simulcasts of sister stations KYMV and KEGA on its HD2 and HD3 subchannels. In turn, KUUU is simulcast on the HD3 subchannel of sister station KUDD. KUDD (105.1 FM, "Mix 105.1") is an American radio station broadcasting a Top 40 (CHR) format serving Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, that's licensed to American Fork, Utah. This station is owned by Dell Loy Hansen, through Broadway Media LS, LLC. Its studios are in Downtown Salt Lake City and its transmitter site is located southwest of the city of Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains. BYU Radio is a talk radio station run by Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Operating at Sirius XM channel 143 (and in northern Utah on 107.9 KUMT and 89.1-2 KBYU-HD2), it is known on-air as BYU Radio. The station features "news, current events, sports, religious and scripted programming".
