Košarkaški klub Studentski centar (Abbreviation, Abbr. KK Studentski centar), commonly referred to as SC Derby due to sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball Sports club, club based in Podgorica, Montenegro. The club currently competes in the Montenegrin Basketball League and the ABA League. History The club was founded in 1997 in Podgorica, Republic of Montenegro (1992–2006), Montenegro, then part of Serbia and Montenegro, FR Yugoslavia. The club's founder is the Podgorica Student Dormitory. In 2015, the club got promoted to the Montenegrin Basketball League, Montenegrin First A League for the 2015–16 Prva A liga, 2015–16 season. In 2020, the club joined the ABA League Second Division, Second Adriatic League for the 2020–21 ABA League Second Division, 2020–21 season. The club was farm team, league affiliate of KK Budućnost, Budućnost VOLI. On 31 August 2021, the club announced a change of their name to SC Derby due to sponsorship reasons. Playe ...

Prva A Liga
The Prva A liga, for sponsorships reasons named the Erste Liga, is the top-tier professional basketball league in Montenegro. It is the highest basketball division organized by the Basketball Association of Montenegro (KSCG). It was established in 2006. shortly after Montenegro declared its independence from Serbia and Montenegro. The league is sponsored by and named after Erste Bank. Currently, two clubs from the area are playing in the regional ABA League. The most successful club in the Prva A liga is Budućnost Podgorica, which has won 14 titles, after winning the 2022 championship.
