KK Ergonom
Košarkaški klub Ergonom ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Ергоном, ), commonly referred to as KK Ergonom, was a men's professional basketball club based in Niš, Serbia. The club used to compete in the top-tiers YUBA League and Basketball League of Serbia. Their home arena was the Čair Sports Center. History The club was founded on 13 May 1970 in Niš, SR Serbia. On 25 April 1971, the lost their inaugural game to Jagodina. During the 1983–84 season, the club was dissolved. In 1999, the club was re-established under the same name. In 2003, the club won the 2nd-tier Cup of Serbia and god qualified for the 2003 Radivoj Korać Cup. Home arena Ergonom used to play its home games at the Čair Sports Center. The hall is located in Niš and was built in 1974. It has a seating capacity of 4,000 seats. Čair Sports Center ( sr, Спортски центар Чаир, Sportski centar Čair), commonly known as Čair Hall ( sr, Хала Чаир, Hala Čair) is an indoor sporting arena located in Niš, Serbia. The seating capacity of the arena is 4,800 for sports events and 6,500 at concerts. It is home to the KK Konstantin basketball team, RK Železničar 1949 handball team and OK Niš volleyball team. History The sports center "22 December" was opened in 1973, as largest sports center in the city of Niš. Later, its name was changed to "Čair Sports Center". It was completely reconstructed in 2011 for the needs of 2012 European Men's Handball Championship, as it was named one of tournament's venues. Košarkaški klub Fair Play ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Фер Плеј), commonly referred to as KK Fair Play, was a men's basketball club based in Niš, Serbia. In 2021, it was merged into Subotica-based team Spartak. History In the inaugural season (2017–18), the club won the Second Regional League of Serbia, East Division, and got promoted to the First Regional League of Serbia, East Division. In the 2018–19 season, they won the First Regional League and got promoted to the Second Basketball League of Serbia for the 2019–20 season. In May 2021, there were talks to merge into a Subotica-based club Spartak. In August 2021, the Basketball Federation of Serbia confirmed a disaffiliation of the club and theirs merge into Spartak. Marko Simonović ( sr-cyr, Марко Симоновић, born May 30, 1986) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former professional basketball player. As a player, he represented the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. Standing at , he played at the small forward position. Professional career Simonović began his professional career in 2003 with Lavovi 063 where he stayed for two seasons. In 2005, he then moved to Ergonom. In 2006, he moved the Belgian team Oostende, only being there for half-season. In the summer of 2006, he signed with Serbian team Hemofarm, staying with them until the summer of 2008. He then moved to the Montenegrin team Budućnost Podgorica, staying with them for three full seasons. Vladimir Đokić ( sr-cyr, Владимир Ђокић; born April 25, 1971) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for Vršac of the Basketball League of Serbia. Playing career A point guard, Đokić played 18 seasons in Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, and Serbia, between from 1990 and 2008. During his playing days, he played for Metalac, Spartak, Partizan, Crvena zvezda, Balkan Steel, Ergonom, EKF Eger, and Nitra. He retired as a player with Metalac in 2008.
