KFPH-CD (channel 35) is a low-power, Class A television station in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, airing programming from the Spanish-language UniMás network. It is a translator of Flagstaff-licensed KFPH-DT (channel 13) which is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision; it is also sister to Univision outlet KTVW-DT (channel 33). KFPH-CD's transmitter is located on South Mountain; its parent station shares studios with KTVW-DT on 30th Street in southern Phoenix. ATSC 3
ATSC 3.0 is a major version of the ATSC standards for television broadcasting created by the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC). The standards are designed to offer support for newer technologies, including HEVC for video channels of up to 2160p 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, wide color gamut, high dynamic range, Dolby AC-4 and MPEG-H 3D Audio, datacasting capabilities, and more robust mobile television support. The capabilities have also been foreseen as a way to enable finer public alerting and targeted advertising. KFPH-DT (channel 13), branded as UniMás Arizona, is a television station licensed to Flagstaff, Arizona, United States, broadcasting the Spanish-language UniMás network to northern and central Arizona. It is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision alongside Phoenix-based Univision outlet KTVW-DT (channel 33). In Flagstaff, Univision maintains offices on Fourth Street, though most operations are run from its Phoenix studios. The KFPH-DT transmitter is located atop Mormon Mountain, about south of Flagstaff in the Coconino National Forest. In Phoenix, KFPH-DT is rebroadcast through KFPH-CD (channel 35). Douglas is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States that lies in the north-west to south-east running Sulpher Springs Valley. Douglas has a border crossing with Mexico at Agua Prieta and a history of mining. The population was 16,531 in the 2020 Census. KFTU-DT (channel 3) is a television station licensed to Douglas, Arizona, United States, broadcasting the Spanish-language UniMás network to the Tucson area. It is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision alongside Green Valley–licensed Univision outlet KUVE-DT (channel 46). Both stations share studios on Forbes Boulevard in Tucson, while KFTU's transmitter is located on Juniper Flats Road northwest of Bisbee. Equity Media Holdings Corporation was a broadcasting company based in Little Rock, Arkansas that owned and operated television stations across the United States. Prior to March 30, 2007, the company was known as Equity Broadcasting, a name later used for its broadcast station subsidiary.
