KCQQ (106.5 FM, “Big 106.5”) is a radio station licensed to Davenport, Iowa with a classic hits format. WXLP (96.9 MHz FM) is a commercial radio station, licensed to Moline, Illinois, and serving the Quad Cities area of Illinois and Iowa. KFQC was a radio station licensed to Davenport, Iowa, United States, serving the Quad Cities area and broadcasting on 1580 kHz AM. It was last owned by Quad City Minority Broadcasters, Inc., and operated from 1952 to 1998. Established as a country music station in 1952 under the call letters KFMA and later KWNT, the frequency became home to a host of revolving formats and owners after 1982. Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1994. Foo Fighters was initially formed as a one-man project by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Following the success of the eponymous debut album, Grohl (lead vocals, guitar) recruited a band consisting of Nate Mendel (bass guitar), William Goldsmith (drums), and Pat Smear (guitar).
