''K-Mart Disco'' is an unofficial demo album by United States, American band Scissor Sisters, released internationally in 2007. It features most of the tracks from their initial demo album as well as other tracks never released on their studio albums or singles, including their first release "Electrobix". The cover is a parody of the classic Pink Floyd album ''The Dark Side of the Moon''. Jake Shears has stated through the band's official Twitter that the band had nothing to do with this release, nor did he like the title. Scissor Sisters
Scissor Sisters were an American pop rock band formed in 2001. Its members include Jake Shears and Ana Matronic as vocalists, Babydaddy as multi-instrumentalist, Del Marquis as lead guitar/bassist, and Randy Real (who replaced Paddy Boom) as drummer. Scissor Sisters incorporates diverse and eclectic styles in their music, but tends to sway towards pop rock, glam rock, nu-disco, and electroclash. ''Ta-Dah'' is the second studio album by American alternative band Scissor Sisters, released on September 15, 2006. It was produced by the band and includes collaborations with Elton John, Carlos Alomar, and Paul Williams. The album debuted at number 19 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, selling 42,000 copies in its first week. Upon its release, ''Ta-Dah'' received positive reviews from most music critics. "Electrobix" is a song by American band Scissor Sisters and is the first single from the Scissor Sisters' 2003 demo album. Released as a 12-inch vinyl EP in 2002, "Electrobix" is not the best-known track on the EP, with its B-side "Comfortably Numb" gaining much more club and airplay than the A-side. The track resurfaced on A Touch of Class's 2004 compilation album ''Remixed!''. The versions found on this album are the 12" mix and the "Hungry Wives Passive Depressive" mix.
